MYOB Tips for July 2010 – Customising MYOB Report

Question : Usually I do not want to include certain data field in my MYOB report. How can I do that? Can I save the format permanently?

Solutions : Go to Report > Index to Report > Accounts > General Ledger Detail Report

Step 1 : Select your Report Fields




Step 2 : Uncheck those data field you do not wish to display on this report and click Display




Step 3 : Click on Save As button.




Step 4 : Give a filename for this report.






The next time if you wish to generate the same report format you can go straight to Custom tab to locate this report.

MYOB Tips for June 2010 – Print Reconciliation Report

Question : After I have reconciled my bank accounts in MYOB, how do I re-print the bank reconciliation for that particular month?

Solutions : Go to Report > Index to Report > Banking > Reconciliation Report

Step 1 : Select your Bank account (Please select only 1 account at a time)

Step 2 : Selected By option will pop out upon Step 1. You will need to select “List of Recorded Statement Date”.

Step 3 : Click on the arrow down besides the Statement Date and select the report date from the list given. Do not enter the statement date manually.

MYOB Tips for May 2010 – Ageing Report Issue

Question :

When I want to print a ageing report as at 31/12/2009 it will also includes 2010 transaction. It seems the report filter does not show the correct data. How can I exclude those transaction from my ageing report?

Solutions :

Go to Report > Index to Report > Sales > Receivable > Reconciliation Summary or Detail.

MYOB Tips for April 2010 - No Matching Records Found

Question : Yesterday I have recorded one transaction in MYOB but this morning when I am trying to find it is said "No Matching Records Found".

Solutions : This could be due to user's computer date issue. You can go to any module go to Transaction Journal enter the date range from 01/01/1900 to 31/12/2034 follow by Tab key.
